Flowers
Linked to Life
Satisfaction
Partnered
with Jeannette Haviland-Jones,
of Rutgers, to
study then effect of
flowers on human emotion
and well being. After 10
months of research, SAF
(Society of American
Florists) unveiled the results of
the first-ever emotional
impact of flowers study
at its annual convention.
Research indicates that
the presence of flowers
triggers happy emotions,
heightens feelings of
life satisfaction, and
affects future behavior
in a positive manner far
beyond what is normally
believed. As a result,
flowers tend to be a
natural and helpful
moderator of moods. 2008 Florida
